About the role
Entegris is seeking Engineers across multiple levels and disciplines to support manufacturing and engineering operations. In this role, you will work cross-functionally across Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Engineering to resolve technical challenges, improve processes, and support qualification and validation activities.
What you'll do
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams to identify and implement process, product, equipment, and quality improvements.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, variability, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead or support structured problem-solving activities using tools such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D, FMEA, SPC, process mapping, DOE, and risk assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving safety, quality, reliability, cycle time, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Support investigations of process deviations, nonconforming materials, equipment or product issues, and customer concerns to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support qualification and validation of new or modified processes, products, equipment, and manufacturing changes while maintaining documentation, specifications, and control plans.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or another related technical discipline.
- Engineering experience in a manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, chemical, advanced materials, or similarly technical environment.
- Experience with structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, FMEA, SPC, DOE, 8D, or process mapping.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems and implement sustainable solutions.
- Ability to interpret and analyze technical and manufacturing data to drive engineering decisions.
