About the role
This role involves leading pre- and post-silicon test engineering activities for advanced integrated circuit (IC) products. You will collaborate with global teams across design, verification, validation, product engineering, manufacturing, and quality.
What you'll do
- Develop pre-silicon characterization test plans based on product features.
- Perform test program development and ATE board design.
- Support R&D and Operations teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with Quality System requirements.
- Debug test programs and execute characterization plans.
- Analyze silicon performance, yield, and device marginalities.
- Drive cost and quality improvements across wafer fabrication, assembly, probe, final test, and supply chain.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in semiconductor IC development.
- Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits, from transistor to system level.
- Hands-on experience with ATE hardware/software development (e.g., Diamond X, J750, Uflex).
- Expertise in silicon development, validation, qualification, and correlation methodologies.
- Advanced statistical data analysis skills; proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Perl) and tools (e.g., YieldHub).
- Familiarity with version control systems (GIT, SVN, Perforce).
- Proficient in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
- Skilled in using bench lab equipment (oscilloscopes, voltmeters, etc.).
