About the role
The Quality Engineer-I supports quality requirements across product strategy, technical development, and production execution.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary quality liaison between product strategy, technical development, and production execution. - Collect and analyze quality performance data, yield rates, and process metrics to spot trends. - Work on the Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) system, including products and process quality issues, containment action plans, root cause determination, and corrective action implementation. - Assist the Quality Engineering Team with the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS). - Participate as an audit team member to ensure compliance to AS9100 and assess the effectiveness of the QMS. - Help facilitate continual improvement across functional areas through training and communication of quality initiatives.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Material Science (or equivalent). - 0-2 years of related experience in semiconductor manufacturing design or processing, or Quality Assurance. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office for detailed metric and technical reports and presentations. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently. - US Person status as required by U.S. export control laws (proof of US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual per 8 USC 1324b(a)(3)).
