$86,600 - $182,500 USD yearly
About the role
As an Electronics Product Engineer, you will focus on bringing linear RFICs, optoelectronics, and analog microelectronics products to the marketplace for high-reliability markets. You will support semiconductor component design, development, and manufacturing from conception through end of life.
What you'll do
- Initiate new component development solutions through conception, release to production, and end of life.
- Review and support product specifications, process flows, and manufacturing activities to ensure products meet customer design requirements.
- Lead product engineering activities, product sampling, and yield/cost improvement.
- Coordinate with Operations to provide product support, review production data, reduce lead times, and maintain on-time delivery goals.
- Coordinate with Quality to ensure products meet specifications, support failure analysis, and review customer specifications and high-reliability production data.
- Communicate with vendors, service providers, and customers to support device performance, quality requirements, and delivery schedules.
What you'll need
- BS in Electronics Engineering with 5 years of related experience in Product, Design, or Test Engineering, or an MS in Electronics Engineering with 3 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of relevant device physics as well as die and packaging technologies.
- Experience developing RF-related components and MCMs, including switches, LNAs, PAs, attenuators, diodes, mixers, and front-end modules.
- Experience developing analog BJT-based product components such as transistors, diodes/LEDs, optoelectronics, linear ICs, and op-amps.
- Experience with statistical analysis and managing multiple technical projects through completion.
- US Citizenship or Green Card holder status.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations, particularly back-end assembly and packaging, and automated testing.
- Familiarity with probability and statistics or data analytics.
- Background in high-reliability requirements, including aerospace (MIL-STD), automotive, or medical industries.
- A hands-on approach to seeking solutions.
