About the role
This role involves owning the electrical implementation of semiconductor handler modules throughout their product lifecycle and leading technical activities for wiring engineers and electrical designers.
What you'll do
- Own the electrical implementation of semiconductor handler modules, including prototype development and manufacturing support.
- Develop and integrate electrical systems for complex industrial equipment.
- Define cable routing to comply with NFPA 79 requirements while minimizing electrical noise.
- Lead the daily technical activities of wiring engineers and electrical designers.
- Use Zuken E3 to develop and maintain schematics, cable documentation, and related engineering documentation.
- Coordinate engineering progress across multiple engineers and projects.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing complex industrial electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with Zuken E3.
- Strong knowledge of industrial wiring systems, cable assemblies, and harness design.
- Strong knowledge of AC and DC 3 phase power distribution, circuit protection, and industrial electrical components.
- Strong knowledge of sensors, safety systems, industrial control hardware, and electrical integration.
- Strong documentation and configuration management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Altium Designer and AutoCAD (or DraftSight).
- Ability to commission, configure, and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment using vendor software tools (Beckhoff TwinCAT).
- Experience with semiconductor capital equipment or other complex automation systems.
- Experience with robotics, motion control, or precision automation equipment.
- Familiarity with functional safety systems.
- Experience leading technical design.
- Experience designing high-flex cable systems for continuously moving industrial equipment.
- Experience supporting prototype builds, manufacturing, and field installations.
