About the role
As an Electrical Engineer III, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to support manufacturing equipment.
What you'll do
- Technically lead or execute electrical engineering projects, including developing key suppliers. - Design, specify, or modify complex electrical engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings. - Identify and troubleshoot complex electrical problems across product releases. - Generate product specifications and define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering test reports. - Coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identifying sources for critical parts. - Lead functional or project teams and communicate technical concepts with internal and external customers.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field. - 7-10 years of experience in a related field. - Demonstrated experience designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical assemblies, layouts, and schematics. - Experience generating engineering test reports and conducting engineering analysis.
Nice to have
- Extensive experience with project management and the Applied Materials product development life cycle. - Demonstrated experience leading teams.
