About the role
This role involves supporting the design, analysis, simulation, and testing of RF, analog, and power management circuit card assemblies for advanced communication and electronic systems. This internship is within the High Performance Analog business group.
What you'll do
- Support design, analysis, simulation, and testing of RF, analog, and power management circuit card assemblies.
- Assist with schematic development, component selection, RF signal chain design, and circuit performance optimization.
- Participate in characterization and laboratory testing using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power meters.
- Perform circuit simulations and analyses to evaluate gain, noise figure, linearity, and power consumption.
- Contribute to design documentation, technical reports, design reviews, and test procedures.
What you'll need
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Completion of RF or Microwave design coursework.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Nice to have
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, LTspice, or ADS.
