About the role
As a Dry Etch Process Engineer, you will maintain, initiate, and implement technical improvements within the Equipment and Process Engineering (EPE) organization. This role supports manufacturing in Europe's largest 8" integrated circuits wafers fab, ICN8, which utilizes CMOS, BIMOS, RFCMOS, and SOI processes.
What you'll do
- Maintain and provide up-to-date procedures and processes to meet safety and quality requirements.
- Connect with Manufacturing to transfer improvement ideas into actions and drive successful implementation.
- Contribute to improvement projects using technical knowledge and experience.
- Define required quantities, secure availability of production tools, initiate upgrades, and support maintenance.
- Coordinate quality-related escalations and support Manufacturing in securing production progress.
What you'll need
- BSc. or MSc. level in Physics, Chemistry, or other relevant technical area.
- Knowledge of complex production processes.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, statistical process control, FMEA, and Quality Management Systems.
Nice to have
- Experience in a high-tech/semiconductor environment.
- Experience with plasma based processing.
