About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Technician for wet process equipment to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installation. In this role, you will interface with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve tool issues and maintain system performance.
What you'll do
- Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation on wet processing tools. - Improve system performance to meet process requirements and eliminate repetitive down events. - Monitor and analyze tool performance data to address equipment-related issues. - Coordinate supplier service and vendor repairs as necessary. - Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to equipment problems.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED. - At least 18 years of age. - 2 years of semiconductor technician experience, OR 8 years of non-semiconductor or military technician experience. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule on night shift.
Nice to have
- Semiconductor technician experience in wet processing equipment. - Troubleshooting experience on electrical and mechanical systems.
