About the role
This role involves defining the architecture of power delivery components from grid to chip. You will ensure infrastructure meets customer requirements and attains standards of performance, reliability, and scalability.
What you'll do
- Provide thought leadership, planning, and design for power delivery from data center power drop through delivery to systems & chips.
- Establish power roadmap and drive technological innovation with power vendors.
- Specify hardware and firmware for rack-level power shelves with competency in design for resiliency.
- Set power policies for power buffer/oversubscription, job scheduling based on power, and fault monitoring.
- Ensure robustness of IT power in the presence of grid disturbances and compatibility with grid power requirements.
- Apply current VRM, TLDR, and POL technologies for board and system-level power regulation components.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with specialized knowledge of Power Engineering.
- Demonstrated ability in power system and delivery architecture, design, and development.
- Experience with rack-level hardware design, including servers, storage, networking, and power distribution.
- Proficiency in power hardware and firmware development and debugging.
