About the role
This role involves managing optical transceiver product lines to drive growth and profitability for Coherent Corp's Datacenter & Communications BU.
What you'll do
- Manage P&L and financial performance, including revenue and gross margin.
- Drive design wins and market share by engaging with customers and product marketing.
- Support sales teams to maximize bookings and revenues.
- Oversee product lifecycle management, including new development projects.
- Assist operations in forecasting, order fulfillment, and cost reduction activities.
- Support marketing by defining product strategy and developing launch collateral.
What you'll need
- BA or BS in Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in Product Management/Engineering Leadership roles in the materials or related industry.
- Deep understanding of high-speed optical transceivers and related technology.
- Familiarity with hyper scale and switch/ASIC vendor ecosystems.
- Knowledge and understanding of financial instruments: P&L, balance sheet, income statement.
