About the role
This role involves providing technical customer support and applications validation for power management products, specifically DC-DC converters.
What you'll do
- Provide technical customer support for a portfolio of power management products including converters, controllers, and drivers.
- Create and present product training material to onsemi's technical support community.
- Author and publish application notes and knowledge base articles.
- Strategize with Product Definition and Design Leads on new product requirements.
- Create customer-facing collateral including EVB, GUI, User Guide, model, design aid, and datasheet.
- Validate new products for application functionality.
What you'll need
- BSEE or MSEE (or equivalent) with a focus on power electronics and DC-DC conversion.
- 3 to 10+ years minimum professional experience with switching power converters, controllers, and drivers.
- Proficient with simulation tools, especially SIMPLIS.
- Schematic capture and PCB layout experience.
- Effective circuit debug skills in an engineering lab.
Nice to have
- Bench test equipment automation development.
