About the role
This role directs the global product quality and reliability team at the division level, focusing on best-in-class reliability and failure analysis activities for Discrete Si, SiC, and power ICs.
What you'll do
- Oversee Global Reliability and Failure Analysis to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Support key customer issues to achieve quality standards.
- Review engineering designs with R&D to contribute quality and reliability requirements.
- Represent the MOSFET division in industry communities like JEDEC and AECQ.
- Design and drive quality and reliability requirements for wide-bandgap (SiC) power product release.
- Establish methodology to test and characterize SiC power semiconductor devices for reliability and failure mechanisms.
What you'll need
- PhD or Masters-level degree in electronics engineering, physics, or microelectronics-related field.
- 15+ years of experience in quality and reliability in the semiconductor industry.
- Familiarity with reliability and failure modes of power semiconductor discrete devices, power ICs, and SiC.
- 5+ years of experience in wide-bandgap power semiconductor technology (ideally SiC).
- Experience leading global team in reliability testing of SiC MOSFETs and diodes at wafer- and package-level.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and design of experiments.
- Knowledge of semiconductor TCAD tools for device simulation (e.g., Synopsys Sentaurus, Silvaco Victory).
Nice to have
- Experience with GaN.
