About the role
KIOXIA America is seeking a Director of Data Center SSD Product Management to lead strategy, product lifecycle execution, and business growth for enterprise and hyperscale SSD solutions. The role oversees the data center SSD portfolio targeting workloads across AI, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale enterprise storage.
What you'll do
- Define and execute product strategy, roadmaps, and technical vision across the full product lifecycle from concept and MRDs through launch and end-of-life. - Lead and mentor a team of product managers while partnering across engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to deliver SSD products. - Align product architectures with evolving technologies including NVMe, PCIe, AI infrastructure, and hyperscale storage architectures. - Oversee pre-sales technical support activities, including RFIs, RFQs, technical evaluations, and specification gap analysis for major design wins. - Cultivate relationships with enterprise, hyperscale, and data center customers, acting as a senior escalation point for deployments. - Build and execute go-to-market strategies to expand business across hyperscale, cloud, and data center storage segments.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in storage, SSD, NAND flash, or related data center infrastructure technologies. - 5+ years of product management or business leadership experience within enterprise storage, servers, or data center hardware markets. - Technical understanding of SSD architectures, NAND technologies, storage system design, and NVMe infrastructure. - Experience with cloud infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, and NAS/SAN/object storage systems. - Willingness to travel approximately 25% domestically and internationally.
