About the role
This role leads teams in the design and development of highly innovative filter products and module solutions that meet customer specifications. The role drives technical excellence in RF filter design, particularly with BAW filters for complex RF front-end modules, and promotes the use of AI to improve productivity.
What you'll do
- Lead teams in the design and development of RF filter products and module solutions.
- Drive technical excellence in RF filter design, especially with BAW filters integrated into RF front-end modules.
- Coordinate design activities with operations to ensure products are developed within aggressive schedules.
- Interface with fab sites to minimize development material holds, improve yields, and enhance design for manufacturability.
- Provide direction to engineering staff, responsible for hiring, leading, developing, and managing their performance.
- Drive the use of AI (artificial intelligence) to improve productivity within the team.
What you'll need
- Proven expertise in the design, manufacturing, and testing of RF filters for integrated modules.
- Strong leadership and change management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
- Advanced analytical skills to solve problems and technical situations.
- Organizational skills to develop teams and interface with other units.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to articulate technical information in presentation format.
- 5-10 years of experience in leading engineering teams.
- RF design management experience, preferably in the cellular handset market.
- Proven track record of bringing new products to market.
