About the role
This role involves applying a transdisciplinary approach to engineering, focusing on the control and operation of Qorvo's modules, breaking down complex designs into blocks and sub-blocks, and ensuring their proper integration to meet customer needs in the high-volume mobile telecommunication market.
What you'll do
- Break down large, complex designs, requirements, and timing into blocks and sub-blocks.
- Ensure the integration of sub-blocks works properly to achieve customer needs.
- Lead interactions among Technical Leads, RF designers, Analog designers, Digital designers, Verification & Test engineers, Applications engineers, Software Engineers, Program Managers, and Sales & Marketing teams.
- Develop and improve scripts, tools, automation, and simulation for communication designs.
- Provide detailed control block diagrams, block and sub-block requirements, control logic, and timing diagrams.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering or equivalent major.
- Successfully completed multiple classes in at least 3 of the following areas: Analog Circuit Design, Radio Frequency Design, DC-to-DC Converter Designs, Digital Designs, Software Design.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, especially complex operations and macros.
- Experience with Cadence IC and/or RF Design Software and/or Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS).
- Experience with Matlab.
- Experience with C++/C#.
- Experience with Python, or other scripting languages.
