About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation across the fab.
What you'll do
- Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs. - Monitor and analyze related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address tool-related issues. - Coordinate supplier service and repairs when needed. - Prepare technical reports, summarize findings, and recommend solutions to technical problems. - Interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve issues.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED. - Must be 18 years of age or older. - Either 2 years of semiconductor technician experience OR 8 years of non-semiconductor/military technician experience. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule. - Flexibility to work day or night shift, including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience on ASM or TEL vertical furnaces. - Hands-on experience on AMAT Centura or Vantage platforms. - Troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems.
