About the role
This role involves driving logic test and diagnosis for AMD test vehicles within the Foundry Technology Operations department, contributing to yield, performance, and reliability data for AMD’s foundry partners and proprietary IP.
What you'll do
- Drive the logic test & diagnosis strategy on AMD test vehicles.
- Own and deliver logic patterns for AMD test vehicles.
- Run experiments on new fault models, corners, and DFT methods.
- Extract, synthesize, and report results to AMD experts and product teams.
- Innovate and drive advanced node logic assessment.
What you'll need
- Experience in IC verification and debug.
- Experience driving IC test improvements.
- Understanding of structural test supporting DFT (BIST, ATPG/Scan Logic).
- Good working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and one or more scripting languages.
- Minimum B.S in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
Nice to have
- Exposure to Advantest/V93K.
- Scan and logic design background.
- Synopsis and Cadence tools are a plus!
