About the role
This internship involves hands-on work in device and process development, focusing on semiconductor wafer-level processes.
What you'll do
- Operate semiconductor fabrication equipment to develop wafer-level processes.
- Troubleshoot processes and optimize recipes, with a focus on photolithography.
- Design and execute fab engineering trials.
- Conduct projects in Photo lithography, Electroplating, plasma etch, and Dry/Wet Etch.
- Analyze data using software like JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Self-starter with good problem-solving skills and interest for hands-on work in a clean room facility.
- Semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including standard processing techniques (PVD, CVD, lithography, dry/wet etch, CMP).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Exposure of GaN or GaAs processing and device.
