About the role
This role involves mechanical design and drafting for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The scope includes creating 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, and managing engineering documentation for electro-mechanical assemblies, supporting product releases.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Generate detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and installation documentation.
- Apply GD&T principles and engineering drawing standards.
- Support design modifications, product improvements, and Engineering Change Order (ECO) implementation.
- Source mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical components for prototype and production builds.
- Maintain BOMs, part numbers, and engineering records in PLM/PDM systems.
What you'll need
- Associates degree in Mechanical engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design, drafting, product development, or engineering support roles.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or AutoCAD.
- Experience creating engineering drawings and maintaining BOMs.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical assemblies, and engineering documentation.
- Experience working with suppliers and procurement activities.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
