About the role
This Designer/Drafter Co-Op position involves collaborating with engineers and technicians to create detailed schematics and designs, ensuring precision in layouts.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with engineers to create detailed schematics and designs using SolidWorks.
- Perform Manufacturing Redlines and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
- Assist in drafting drawings for each system.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure precise and high-quality designs.
What you'll need
- Proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with engineers and other team members.
- Currently enrolled student.
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
- Familiarity with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program.
