About the role
This Design Engineering Intern role involves producing and implementing designs for RF and analog circuits to meet customer specifications.
What you'll do
- Produce and implement designs for RF and analog circuits
- Design and test RF circuits (PA, LNA, SW, Matching Networks) and analog circuits
- Partner with technicians to perform circuit simulations and testing
- Compare simulated data to real lab data using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters
- Perform transistor level circuit design, simulation, and layout
- Script automated/regression simulation environments using SKILL, python, TCL, or bash
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Software Exposure: ADS, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Synopsis, Mentor Calibre, Cadence Virtuoso/EMX/Xcelium, Dynamic Link, 3D CAD, Mechanical FEA
- Scripting Exposure: SKILL, python, TCL, bash
Nice to have
- RF/microwave, Analog, & Digital integrated-circuit design coursework and/or experience
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
Skills: RF and analog circuits, PA, LNA, SW, Matching Networks, transistor level circuit design
