About the role
This role involves supporting the development of integrated circuit design with AI assistance, focusing on the design, simulation, layout, testing, and validation of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
What you'll do
- Participate in the design, layout, simulation, and validation of analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuits.
- Develop and execute application test bench to characterize circuit and system performance.
- Analyze test data and prepare technical reports and design documentation.
- Develop agentic AI scripts using Python to automate testing, data analysis, and engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Engineering, Applications Engineering, and Test Engineering.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, or related field with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Recent college graduate with foundational experience in circuit design, circuit layout, device physics, agentic AI, and laboratory-based engineering projects.
- Fundamental understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience with Python programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Coursework or project experience in Analog IC design or mixed-signal design.
- Semiconductor device physics and basic transistor operation knowledge.
- Familiarity with circuit design and simulation tools and platforms such as SPICE and Matlab.
- Familiarity with Cadence and Synopsys tools.
- Experience with Verilog, VHDL, C/C++, or additional programming languages.
- Participation/experience in integrated circuit design or semiconductor related projects.
