About the role
MACOM is seeking an engineer to simulate and design high-frequency integrated circuits based in Eastgate, Little Island, Cork.
What you'll do
- Simulate and design high-frequency integrated circuits using CAE tools.
- Complete design reviews and develop test plans for validation procedures.
- Evaluate prototype designs in the laboratory and troubleshoot design and test issues.
- Characterize RF performance using network analyzers.
- Design RF PCB layouts, reviewing and testing for signal integrity.
- Work within a multi-disciplined project team.
What you'll need
- Degree in Electronic Engineering.
- Recent graduate or due to graduate in 2026.
- Good understanding of RF concepts.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with high-frequency design tools such as ADS and Cadence.
