About the role

As a Contract Senior Demand Planner at KIOXIA America Inc., you will own the demand forecasting process for a high-growth data center hyperscale customer. You will serve as the operational link between the customer, internal stakeholders, and the KIOXIA headquarters team in Tokyo.

What you'll do

• Manage a rolling 12-month SKU level demand forecast, accounting for customer build schedules and cloud deployment timelines.
• Lead regular demand alignment meetings directly with key customers to review and synchronize demand signals with supply plans.
• Partner with the Tokyo headquarters team in weekly planning sessions to communicate demand shifts, align supply, and resolve customer action items.
• Manage demand forecasting for New Product Introductions (NPI) and End-of-Life (EOL) transitions to prevent inventory write-offs or supply gaps.
• Track and improve forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE/Bias) alongside key inventory metrics including ending on hand (EOH), days of supply (DOS), and aging inventory disposition.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to business processes and drive root cause and corrective actions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience utilizing enterprise forecasting software such as SAP IBP, Oracle, or Kinaxis.

Nice to have

• 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing demand planning, supply chain, procurement, or account management.
• Experience in the data center or semiconductor industry.
• Strong understanding of data center customer dynamics, supply chain lead times, and components.
• Enterprise storage (SSD/HDD) or Data Center hardware experience.
