About the role
This role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment.
What you'll do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment.
- Prioritize job tasks in collaboration with the factory management team.
- Analyze root causes of failure with peers, supervisors, and engineering teams to improve equipment availability.
- Work with vendors, field service, and technical representatives.
- Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate daily activities.
- Document all work performed on equipment.
What you'll need
- Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on technical maintenance experience in a high volume semiconductor environment.
- Direct experience on wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment.
- Strong mechanical, electronic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with navigating and operating computers.
- Ability to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for handling hazardous materials.
