About the role
This role involves supporting factory performance through data analysis, production monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives within semiconductor manufacturing operations.
What you'll do
- Support production planning activities by monitoring work-in-process (WIP) movement and manufacturing line performance.
- Assist in prioritizing production lots based on operational needs, tool availability, and production targets.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, throughput constraints, and opportunities for cycle time reduction.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key manufacturing performance metrics.
- Monitor fab health indicators such as queue lengths, WIP aging, tool utilization, and production output.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing factory efficiency, line flow, and dispatch effectiveness.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar platforms.
- Interest in semiconductor manufacturing and factory operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
