About the role
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build and test display and wafer fabrication equipment, including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
What you'll do
- Utilize routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, and instructions to build, repair, and test assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repair, identifying and correcting errors.
- Observe all safety standards, maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment, and follow safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Enter data on computer terminal, including progress, work expense, and labor details.
- Receive parts, perform audits to ensure necessary parts are available, and inspect parts for defects.
What you'll need
- Experience performing electro-mechanical assembly operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Proficiency with test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
- Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
