About the role
Texas Instruments is looking for an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure issues are resolved appropriately and efficiently.
What you'll do
- Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs. - Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address tool-related issues. - Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed. - Prepare technical reports, summarize findings, and recommend solutions to technical problems.
What you'll need
- High School diploma/GED and at least 18 years of age. - 2 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician, OR 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule. - Flexibility to work day or night shift, including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting CVD equipment. - Experience supporting 300mm AMAT or LAM equipment. - Troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems.
