About the role
The Customer Support Technician II executes Tier I procedures, preventative maintenance, and wet cleans on semiconductor equipment.
What you'll do
- Perform standard Tier I procedures including wafer measurement. - Execute preventative maintenance and wet cleans independently, and assist senior engineers with corrective maintenance. - Disassemble, clean, and rebuild kits as part of kit management quality. - Apply diagnostic techniques and utilize documentation and test equipment under the guidance of senior engineers to resolve basic technical problems. - Adhere to BKMs, utilize knowledge management systems, and follow all IP guidelines. - Work in a clean room environment using Personal Protective Equipment and hand and power tools.
What you'll need
- Developed analytical skills and application of scientific methods to perform assigned activities and evaluate established operating procedures. - Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical problems. - Ability to meet physical demands including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs., bending, working in tight spaces, distinguishing colors, and climbing stairs and ladders. - Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
