About the role
This role is primarily responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing highly complex capital equipment at customer sites and trade shows.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical equipment problems via telephone or at customer sites.
- Repair and update equipment at customer facilities.
- Prepare field service reports on customer support activity.
- Provide documentation to other supporting functions on re-occurring problems.
- Assist in the preparation of quotes for customers based on labor, travel expenses, and parts needed.
- Provide guidance and technical assistance to Installation Engineers on installations at customer sites or on installing/dismantling demonstration machines.
What you'll need
- BS +2 years experience or equivalent years of experience.
