About the role
As a Customer Service Engineer at KLA Corporation, you will evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical semiconductor equipment problems. You will support customer tool operations through preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and installation support.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical equipment problems under direction and supervision.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned products independently.
- Carry out corrective maintenance (CM) following a provided plan of action (POA).
- Prepare Field Service Reports on customer support activity and provide documentation to supporting functions.
- Prepare quotes for customers based on labor, travel expenses, and required parts.
- Assist other field service personnel and support installation engineers.
- Return parts to the distribution center on time and communicate work plans and progress directly with customers.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's level degree with 2 years of related work experience, or a Master's level degree with 0 years of related work experience.
- Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical equipment problems.
- Experience performing maintenance and field support activities following documented plans of action.
