About the role
This role involves serving as an advocate for strategic customer accounts and championing quality and reliability across Diodes' processes, products, and services within the globally operating Corporate Quality Organization in Plano, TX.
What you'll do
- Act as a quality representative and point of contact for commercial and automotive customers to improve their valuation of quality.
- Provide technical liaison between customers, Diodes' failure analysis labs, factories, and suppliers, supporting sales and marketing.
- Lead cross-functional failure analysis and root cause investigations using industry-standard issue resolution methodologies.
- Prepare 8D reports and track customer return status.
- Support new product development activities, interfacing with internal and external manufacturing sites for process and product qualifications.
- Facilitate process and product change management, leading Change Review Board (CRB) meetings and generating Product Change Notifications (PCNs).
What you'll need
- BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, product engineering, packaging, or quality engineering.
- Experience in semiconductor qualification processes, reliability procedures, manufacturing at wafer fabs and/or assembly & test sites.
- Familiarity with JEDEC and AEC-Qxxx, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 26262, VDA 6.3, ZVEI, PPAP standards, as well as DFMEA and PFMEA.
- Experience in Test and Process SPC, Maverick Product Elimination (MPE), including PAT, SBL, SYL.
- Proficient in problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, PDCA, and SWOT.

- Direct quality audit experience.
- Expertise in automating and enhancing efficiency of quality business processes.
- Ability to travel internationally.
