About the role
This role involves leading a customer field support team in the memory business unit, focusing on ensuring the success of premier memory customers.
What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Production Support Engineers, driving their career growth and technical capabilities. - Serve as the primary advocate for memory customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strengthening long-term partnerships. - Act as a vital bridge between customers and internal R&D, Sales, and Global Support organizations, managing escalations and fostering collaboration. - Partner with the sales organization to co-develop and execute account support strategies, providing critical field insights. - Define and manage operational metrics (KPIs) for the team to ensure efficiency and high performance, optimizing resource planning and workflows.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Electronic, Semiconductor, Computer Science). - 4+ years of proven leadership experience managing and developing a team of technical engineers in a high-tech environment. - Demonstrated ability to forge strategic relationships with key customers and internal business partners. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with professional fluency in both English and Korean.
Nice to have
- Strong technical background in semiconductor memory (DRAM, NAND) and/or Automated Test Equipment (ATE). - Experience managing support services as a business, including P&L or cost center management. - A strategic mindset with the ability to translate technical support activities into business value.
