About the role
This role involves installing, maintaining, and upgrading semiconductor manufacturing equipment for customers, acting as a direct liaison. It requires applying diagnostic techniques to address technical issues across electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and plating systems.
What you'll do
- Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment.
- Apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess equipment and address technical issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and plating systems.
- Coordinate with factory personnel and internal technical resources to complete customer-required activities.
- Participate in escalation meetings to track issues, drive corrective actions, and provide status updates.
- Represent the company to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
What you'll need
- Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
- 3-5 years of work experience in semiconductor industry or other equipment support industry.
- Experience with vacuum-based or wet chemistry (Plating), or dry chemistry (PVD), equipment, utilizing software-controls.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a clean-room environment.
