About the role
The Customer Engagement Applications Engineer provides technical applications support on KLA metrology products at customer sites to drive product penetration and adoption.
What you'll do
- Develop new applications, use cases, and best-known methods to increase the value of KLA products for customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product roadmaps, conduct customer demonstrations, and support release-to-production activities.
- Deliver technical presentations with clarity to customer and internal engineering teams.
- Travel over 30% within the US to support customer site operations and engagements.
What you'll need
- PhD, Master's degree with 2 years of work experience, or Bachelor's degree with 3 years of work experience.
- Experience delivering technical applications support and customer demonstrations.
- Willingness to travel greater than 30% within the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry and semiconductor processing.
- Knowledge of optics, spectroscopic ellipsometry, and CD-SAXS metrology.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and machine learning concepts.
- Programming and scripting skills in MATLAB or Python.
