About the role
This Continuous Improvement Co-Op will focus on improving processes and reducing manufacturing costs within Assembly, Flush Room, and Warehouse areas.
What you'll do
- Assist in Kaizen Workshop documentation
- Implement 5S activities
- Assist in Gemba walks
- Assist in Productivity Savings calculations
- Assist in using different root cause analysis tools
What you'll need
- Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Junior standing in an Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering program
- 1 year experience in Continuous Improvement
- Currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday (8 am-5 pm) from January through June
- Familiarity with university co-op program requirements
