About the role
This role involves configuration engineering, focusing on the control and release of master engineering documentation, including drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
What you'll do
- Review, maintain, control, and release Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Manage and control master files within the Product Data Management (PDM) system.
- Manage and control master data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, including Material Masters, Bills of Materials, and Change Masters.
- Manage and control the CAD data promotion process in Pro/Intralink.
- Support the engineering community by providing Number Book, eCart, and ECO training and user support.
- Test new functionality within PDM, ERP, and other Engineering systems.
What you'll need
- Experience with Engineering Change Order (ECO) review, maintenance, control, and release.
- Experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Proficiency in Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including Material Masters, Bills of Materials, and Change Masters.
- Experience with CAD data promotion process in Pro/Intralink.
- Ability to provide informal guidance to new team members.
