About the role
This role supports manufacturing operations and drives continual improvement for chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) procedures and processes. The position operates within a high-volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies.
What you'll do
- Support manufacturing operations and perform lot and equipment dispositions to support continuous production flow and minimize cycle time. - Develop and implement improved methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that improve efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality. - Execute project and improvement plans, including efficiency improvements, cost reduction, quality improvement programs, new product support, and process improvements. - Identify systematic problems across process and equipment sources, communicating findings continuously to engineering staff. - Support manufacturing ramp activities through equipment and process startup, process experiments (SWRs), data analysis, and problem resolution.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. - 5 years of experience in CMP as a process or equipment engineer. - CMP process and/or equipment experience. - Strong foundation in statistical process control. - Experience with engineering change control and process release strategies.
