About the role

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving equipment and processes in the assigned area. This role focuses on equipment at a 300mm semiconductor manufacturing facility.

What you'll do

• Monitor equipment performance and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on assigned tool sets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues using mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills.
• Recover equipment from process interruptions and complete event documentation.
• Communicate equipment and area status updates to the Lead Tech or Engineer.

What you'll need

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 2-year technical degree OR 2 years of relevant military experience OR 4 years of relevant experience (e.g., automotive repair, HVAC, aviation, electrical work).
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol/requirements.
• Basic reading and writing comprehension skills.
• Basic computer navigation skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a standing position for an extended period during a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to lift equipment and tools when performing maintenance activities; above 50lbs requires a two-person lift.
• Flexible and willing to work any shift.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in engineering technology, military equivalent, trade equivalent, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ Years of direct experience working in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics / blueprints / electrical diagrams.
• Experience utilizing basic hand tools.
• Experience with troubleshooting and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Basic understanding of the principles of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
