About the role
This Characterization Engineering Intern will create automated test software and develop test hardware for RF measurements within QORVO's Advanced Cellular business group.
What you'll do
- Create automated test software to control test equipment and execute test sequences.
- Assist on the design and development of test hardware solutions to perform complex RF measurements.
- Perform RF test equipment evaluation and down selection.
- Support RF characterization testing and data analysis to provide full compliance information on Qorvo products.
- Measure RF products and test devices using test equipment like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and digital pattern generators.
- Process, verify, and analyze measured data; produce presentations and reports.
- Develop custom tool sets to aid in data visualization, big data analysis, lab efficiency tracking, and lean manufacturing metrics.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Exposure to programming languages: Python, C# or similar object-oriented language.
- Exposure to data analysis software or languages: Spotfire, JMP, R, or similar.
Nice to have
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience.
