About the role
This internship involves characterization engineering activities within Qorvo's Integrated Systems business unit. You will gain experience working with ARM based embedded systems and System-on-a-chip (SOC) supporting UWB radio technology.
What you'll do
- Create automated test software to control test equipment and execute test sequences.
- Assist in the design and development of test hardware solutions to perform RF measurements.
- Support RF and System-on-chip (SOC) characterization testing and data analysis.
- Measure RF products and test devices using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and digital pattern generators.
- Process, verify, and analyze measured data; produce clear concise presentations and reports.
- Develop custom tool sets for data visualization, big data analysis, lab efficiency tracking, and lean manufacturing metrics.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
- Some Programming Language Exposure: Python or C.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling.
Nice to have
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience.
