About the role

Astera Labs is seeking a Board Supply Chain Senior Manager to lead supply chain strategy and execution for board products. You will own the end-to-end flow of PCBA boards from component and PCB supply through assembly, test, and delivery.

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain operations for PCBA boards, covering component supply, PCB fabrication, assembly, test, and delivery.
  • Review inventory, work-in-progress, and finished goods against demand to set build plans, net supply requirements, and build schedules.
  • Monitor output delivery schedules and quantities from contract manufacturers, component suppliers, and PCB vendors, driving corrective actions when outputs fall short of plan.
  • Manage relationships, performance, and operational reviews for contract manufacturers, PCB and assembly partners, and component suppliers.
  • Secure supply for long-lead and constrained components through allocation, alternates, and supplier commitments.
  • Identify supply constraints, capacity gaps, and schedule risks, while partnering with hardware engineering, operations, and quality on engineering changes and readiness plans.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience managing people or teams in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing.
  • Experience in PCBA hardware manufacturing, specifically within electronics assembly and contract manufacturing environments.
  • Working knowledge of material requirements planning, supply-demand planning, inventory management, and supplier management.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or MRP systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier performance and resolve supply, quality, and delivery issues.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing supply chains for data center, networking, or AI infrastructure products.
  • Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers in Asia.
  • Experience building planning dashboards and data-driven operating metrics using Microsoft tools.
