About the role
This is a senior-level Semiconductor Fab PVD Engineering Technician role focused on process and tool performance variation reduction, tool reliability, and defectivity reduction. Work centers on AMAT 5X00 Endura and RTP toolsets in the ATMC Films area.
What you'll do
- Identify and reduce variation in process and tool performance, improving tool reliability and availability. - Increase production capacity on new and existing toolsets while supporting defectivity and scrap reduction efforts. - Define Out of Control Action Plans and implement Six-Sigma statistical process control methods. - Improve cost performance of processes and advance process monitoring and sensor capabilities. - Qualify alternate parts and develop and write technical specifications. - Participate in and lead cross-functional and lean activity teams.
What you'll need
- 5+ years in semiconductor fabrication as a PVD Engineering Technician or Engineer. - Proficiency with AMAT 5X00 Endura and RTP toolsets. - Demonstrated ability to generate, analyze, and interpret data. - Experience managing multiple issues, shifting priorities, and developing foundational problem-solving solutions. - Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills across multiple disciplines.
