About the role
Skyworks' Applications Engineering Internships support business groups including High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, Connectivity, and Sensors. Interns work on RF measurements, automated testing solutions, and technical customer collateral based on measured device performance.
What you'll do
- Develop automated testing solutions with RF instruments.
- Perform RF measurements of device characteristics related to gain, noise, and linearity.
- Analyze and summarize measurement data, and build customer presentations based on the findings.
- Simulate and design RF matching networks and RF system-level solutions.
- Compare performance characteristics against competitor components.
- Generate technical collateral including datasheets and application notes, and review internal and customer product specifications.
What you'll need
- Current enrollment in an accredited BS, MS, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework or experience.
- Familiarity with conducting circuit simulations and working in a lab environment.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or C#.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
