This role involves providing high-level technical support for Ansys Lumerical customers and channel partners, applying deep optics and photonics engineering expertise.
What you'll do
- Provide high-level technical support for Ansys Lumerical customers and channel partners.
- Own customer problems and deliver comprehensive solutions throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle.
- Conduct introductory, intermediate, and advanced training sessions for customers.
- Gather customer requirements and market trends to inform improvements to Ansys software.
- Test new software releases on real-world industrial problems.
- Participate in internal initiatives to share knowledge and develop simulation solutions and FAQs.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Optoelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum professional experience of 2 years.
- Solid knowledge of optical and photonics theory, with practical application in simulation environments.
- Familiarity with Ansys Lumerical or other commercial optical/photonics simulation tools.
- Proficiency in English and at least one local language.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
