About the role
This role supports semiconductor activities and application support for metrology tools in Korea and globally. The position involves developing new applications and improving tool utilizations.
What you'll do
- Provide application support for metrology tools, including new recipe setup and finetuning existing recipes.
- Develop new applications and work on improving tool utilizations.
- Collaborate with Field Service Engineers (FSE) for new tool installation qualifications and troubleshooting.
- Serve as a company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters.
- Work closely with customers to understand high value problems and provide solutions, reporting issues to management.
- Actively participate in application-related work for JEP or special projects.
What you'll need
- B.S. and above degree in engineering, optics, physics, or equivalent experiences.
- 3 years of prior experiences with optics, mechanical/vacuum, electrical systems, or semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good planning, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work long hours in a clean room environment.
