The Application Engineer V technically leads complex application activities, evaluation teams, and product application roadmaps based on customer technologies and requirements.
What you'll do
- Lead product application roadmaps for future solutions based on deep analysis of customer technologies and critical gaps. - Direct execution teams through beta sites, evaluations, and product demos at customer sites, managing statement of work (SOW) alignment and commitment schedules. - Define customer technical requirements by analyzing product roadmaps and customer needs. - Establish methodologies to optimize system performance for specific applications. - Identify, develop, and transfer new application capabilities within the system envelope from the product division to customer application support teams. - Lead customer technical review meetings and coordinate field execution teams from planning to implementation.
What you'll need
- Subject matter expertise and broad technical depth in semiconductor equipment application engineering. - Proven experience leading execution teams through on-site beta evaluations, demos, and SOW commitments. - Demonstrated background defining customer technical requirements and establishing system performance optimization methodologies. - Track record of leading complex technical projects and conducting high-level customer technical reviews. - Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
