About the role
This role involves evaluating new silicon products, system design, developing system-level solutions and firmware for power management applications, designing and validating evaluation boards, supporting customers, and creating technical documentation. The position focuses on power system management solutions for hyperscale cloud and AI infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Evaluate silicon on the bench.
- Develop firmware for power management systems.
- Design and test evaluation boards with embedded controllers.
- Generate reference design reports for customers.
- Review customers' schematics and firmware implementations.
- Write datasheets and application notes.
- Perform simulations and lab automation.
What you'll need
- BSEE with 2+ years of experience, or MSEE.
- Fundamentals in power electronics.
- Experience with microcontroller-based systems and firmware development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Experience with lab equipment.
- Coding experience in Python or similar scripting languages.
Nice to have
- MSEE with 3+ years of experience focused on embedded systems.
- Knowledge of power management ICs.
- Strong experience with firmware debugging and development tools.
- Solid understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Experience with hardware debug/troubleshooting.
- PCB design experience.
- Excellent presentation and technical writing skills.
- Simulation tools Simplis or LTSpice or MATLAB.
- Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, PMBus).
