About the role
This Expert Application Engineer role focuses on supporting customer engagement and solution development across the Americas region, with a focus on medical devices.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary technical consultant supporting strategic opportunities across the Americas.
- Engage directly with customers to understand measurement challenges, manufacturing requirements, and emerging technology needs.
- Translate customer requirements into differentiated Keysight solutions and business value propositions.
- Lead technical discussions, executive briefings, workshops, proof-of-concepts, and solution demonstrations.
- Design and develop integrated test solutions combining hardware, software, automation, and analytics.
- Create novel measurement methodologies and workflows leveraging Keysight instrumentation and software platforms.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in test and measurement, electronics design, validation, manufacturing test, automation, systems integration, or solution development.
- Demonstrated success supporting customer-facing technical engagements.
- Proven ability to reason through complex technical problems, develop practical automated measurement solutions, and guide them from concept toward deployment.
- Deep expertise in at least one measurement, automation, validation, or systems-integration domain.
- Experience with one or more of: Python, C#, MATLAB, LabVIEW, C/C++, TestStand, Instrument Control Frameworks, Cloud-Based Analytics Platforms.
Nice to have
- Master's degree.
- Experience supporting medical device manufacturing and validation, wearable medical devices, continuous glucose monitoring systems, implantable medical devices, digital health platforms, and design verification and validation testing.
- Experience with industrial automation and robotics.
- Experience with AI and machine learning applications in testing.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing analytics.
